Applied Ecological Research staff are covered by public liability and professional indemnity insurances during all aspects of their work.

An extensive review of work-safe procedures was conducted in 2007, with recognition from WorkSafe Victoria for its Occupational Health and Safety management system and structure, including hazard identification and control recommendations.

Applied Ecological Research (ABN 60 613 550 686) has in place professional work flow procedures for client documentation, field work safety and ethical requirements, including approval for research on animals from relevant state animal ethics committees.
